Religion : Romania is a secular state, thus having no national religion. The dominant religious body is the Romanian Orthodox Church, an autocephalous church. Other important Christian denominations include Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Pentecostalism and the Romanian Greek-Catholic Church. Romania also has a Muslim minority concentrated in Dobrogea. Political system : Romania is a semi-presidential democratic republic where executive functions are shared between the president and the prime minister.
