Iberoauto offers lower prices: does this mean lower quality services?

Absolutely not, indeed the contrary is often the case. You will be given the same vehicles offered by the major rental companies. We only work with international car hire operators, selected once they have a proven track record with us. And our Customer Services Department is always there to help and advise.

Why is it less expensive to book through Iberoauto?

We are able to negotiate large annual rental volumes from the most well known car hire companies, enabling our customers to benefit from unbeatable prices, in 150 countries worldwide.

Is there a minimum age to be able to rent a car?

Car hire is generally only available to those over 21, but this depends on the country of destination. Sometimes, the hirers we work with impose a "new driver" extra.

Can the model of the car be guaranteed?

Only the class of vehicle is guaranteed, but please ask your car rental agency to try to specify the model of vehicle that would best suit your needs.

Must I hold an international driving license to be able to rent a car abroad?

A National Driving License is sufficient, in most cases. However, certain countries require an International Driving Licence.

When will you let me know that my car rental order has been confirmed?

As soon as you place your order, we will send you an e-mail confirming all the details of your rental requirements, from the moment you collect the vehicle until the moment you return it. When payment is processed, we will send you your car Hire Voucher, which will allow you to collect the hired vehicle.

Where exactly do I collect the vehicle?

You collect your vehicle from the agency clearly marked on your car hire voucher.

Is it possible to cancel my booking?

Yes, with Iberoauto you can cancel any pre-booked rental, right up to the last minute prior to picking up your hired vehicle. There is no charge and no required justification.

When will my booking be confirmed?

As soon as we are sure that the vehicle you have requested is available, and we have received your payment. Your Voucher and bill will then be sent to you by email.

What documents do I need to show to collect my vehicle?

You are required to produce the following, at the car rental agency desk, a driving license for the main and additional drivers included, the same credit card with which you paid for your booking (i.e. name of cardholder must correspond with name of main driver) and of course your Auto Escape Car Rental Voucher.
